What We Believe

Collapsible content

We believe in one triune God, displaying himself as God the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.

We believe that because of the sin of Adam and Eve, all people are sinners and have a sin nature from birth. This sin separates us from God who is without sin.

We believe Jesus was sent of God to earth to act as the ultimate atoning sacrifice for sins. We believe He was born of the virgin Mary, lived a perfect life without sin, died on the cross in obedience to the Father, and was raised from the dead three days later by the Holy Spirit. We believe He ascended back into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. We believe He sent the indwelling Holy Spirit to act as the seal of salvation for all Christians, guiding, interceding, and convicting them.

We believe salvation is a free gift, by faith through grace, available to all people because of Jesus' sacrifice. We believe baptism is a command from God to outwardly show the inward act of being crucified with Christ and raised into new life (Galatians 2:20). Baptism is an outward expression of an inward faith.

We believe the Bible is the whole and complete inspired word of God without error. We believe it is the baseline of truth and should be held in regard as such, especially by Christians. We believe all Christians are commanded to read and study the Bible.

We believe God is a personal God and wants a relationship with each individual. We believe Christians are able to have fellowship with God through the Holy Spirit because of Jesus' work on the cross.

We believe Christians are called to share the gospel with everyone and make disciples.

We believe eternity is spent in heaven or in the lake of fire. Heaven if one believes by faith through grace on Jesus, or the lake of fire if one rejects Jesus.

We Believe Jesus is coming again for His bride: The Church.
